AWS Console App Reviews

Login Nightmare Makes It Unusable

App requires you to login each and every time its opened, which is absurd when you use a truly secure password and two factor authentication. Why Amazon didnt enable pin or touch login is beyond me.

Really 1Password support only??? Add Lastpass support!!!

Really 1Password support only??? Add Lastpass support!!!

App name

Why is it called "BFF.release"?

Great that 1Password support was added

Its great that 1Password support was added. However, this version seems to have an unrelated issue. When logging into a root account using MFA, the code is not accepted. Same credentials work using a web browser or other means.

Bugs

The app now shows up as "BFF.release". And when you log in, the loading indicator always says "error." Also, please dont hide the iOS status bar at the top!

Malformed app title

Okay functionality. But with the latest update the app title is not right. You guys may want to fix this.

Couple of bugs

- Title is BFF.release (is Best Friends Forever the project code name?) - iOS Status Bar disappears with app open.

Worst Episode Ever!

Amateur hour. I would expect this kinda of software engineering from Microsoft not Amazon...

Another product rushed to market without review

Too many bugs. The first bug is the name of the app. Amazon (mistakenly?) named their bff.release.

Cannot use with VoiceOver

VoiceOver only speaks "web biew." Nothing else is accessible with VoiceOver

Fabulous

Great app, and I really appreciate the regular updates containing not just bug fixes but useful enhancements too. Keep it up, AWS!

Latest update has issues

First, let me say that Im impressed they quickly addressed the previous issues with the app. Great response. However, it seems the intended behaviour is to hide the status bar. This is annoying when you need to track the time, signal, or most importantly for me: VPN connectivity. Cant imagine why anyone would want to run this app "full screen". Could this at least be a toggle? Otherwise, an outstanding app.

Exceptional App

Amazon, you truly are awesome. I can tell that you guys have been reading the reviews on the app and fix what the reviewers were reporting.... Unlike *cough cough Google cough cough* Excellent app. Thank you, Amazon!

AWS in your hands!

This is a great app which allows you monitor your infrastructure and do "some" useful actions like restarting a server, deploying and etc. hopefully the allowed actions will increase over time. Highly recommended to anyone with an AWS account. Good job AWS mobile team. Thanks

Keeps getting better

Thanks for adding 1password support. Makes it much easier to get in and get my work done.

Not really that useful

Its nice that they have an app but this version is very basic. It gives you an overview of your account but not much else. The app its self is also fairly crude, its basically a stripped down mobile version of their website and not a native application. It would be great if they added notification support. It would be really helpful to subscribe to push notifications for cloud watch alarms as well as other events such as ec2 launches. It would also be great if they started to include more AWS functionally such as the ability to create ec2 instances and take snapshots of existing ones. I know the mobile form factor is not idea for many AWS tasks but I believe there are some basic console functions missing from this app.
